Our short-term policies do not cover a claim for just broken/damaged glass including the windscreen. We do not currently offer separate cover for windscreen damage that entitles you to a standalone windscreen cover. For more information on what is covered by your policy, please check your policy documents.
When purchasing, you will be provided with your documents in two ways:
Your Policy Confirmation email could be in the Junk or Spam folder of your inbox, so the first thing you should do is check there. If it’s not there or in your inbox, please get in touch with us and we’ll take a look into it for you.
When accessing your documents via the secure link within your Policy Confirmation email, you will be asked to pass some validation questions as a security measure. You will need to provide the following details:
If you find that you have entered these details correctly, and are unable to access your documents, there may have been an issue with the information on the policy. Please get in touch via the Contact Us page if you need any assistance with this.
At this time, we do not issue standalone invoices or receipts. All costs associated with the policy are detailed in the Policy Confirmation email that was sent to you at the time of purchase. This provides a breakdown of the cost of the policy including Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) which is applicable on insurance policies in place of VAT.
If you require us to resend your Policy Confirmation email, we can arrange for it to be resent to the policyholder. Please contact us to arrange this.
If you would like us to post your documents to you, get in touch with us and we can organise that for you. All posted documents will be sent free of charge, via 2nd class delivery.
Your policy wording will be sent to you as part of your Policy Confirmation email. You can also take a look at the Policy Wording of your quote before you purchase by clicking the ‘View Policy Wording’ link at the bottom of the Insurers Declaration page. You will see this page when you get a quote.
Your Insurance Product Information Document will be sent to you as part of your Policy Confirmation email. You can also take a look at the IPID of your quote before you purchase by clicking the ‘View Policy Wording’ link at the bottom of the Insurers Declaration page. You will see this page when you get a quote.
Due to the short-term nature of our policies, we are unable to change a policy in the same way you would with an annual policy. This includes changing the vehicle registration, personal details, addresses, or anything else you’ve provided when getting a quote.
We try to make this as clear as possible when you get a quote including stating our “no changes, additions or refunds” clause to you before purchase so that you are aware and have agreed you understand this before proceeding to payment.
Sadly, there is no physical way for us to change any details on a policy once it’s paid for, regardless of whether it has started or not. If you have concerns over this and wish to enquire further, you can do so via the Contact Us page.
